Chief Laments As Contractor Abandons Project And Uses The Money To Marry A Second Wife

Rtd. Sulemana Abubakari, the paramount chief of Tolon conventional space in Tamale metropolis, has regretted the contractor’s abandoning of street building in his village after accepting the cash.

Based on Rtd. Sulemana Abubakari, the contractor used undertaking funds to marry his second wife and abandon the undertaking.

After a number of residents complained bitterly concerning the undertaking’s delay, he made the revelation in an unique interview with Ghana Dorminance Information.

The contract was awarded to the contractor, Alhaji Mashud Salfu COP, who protested that he didn’t come up with the money for to start the undertaking, in line with Rtd. Sulemana Abubakari. Based on the chief, he took it upon himself to make sure that he acquired ample funding to start the undertaking.

Nevertheless, he noticed that the development was not progressing, and upon extra investigation, he found that the contractor had taken the funds to marry his second wife and had deserted the undertaking.

“…after I made my checks,I used to be advised he used the cash to marry a second wife. My sources advised he has been paid on three (3) totally different events, however he has determined to desert the work. The final time he got here to me with a model new Benz automotive, however I sacked him, warning him to not step foot right here once more”, Tolon Naa mentioned.
