Chief Imam In Southern Kaduna Leaves Behind 26 Children, 290 Grandchildren And Over 200 Great-grandchildren, Dies At 130

Alhaji Sheikh Adam Tahir, the Chief Imam of Kafanchan Central Mosque, died after an illness at the age of 130.

Sheikh Adam passed on Wednesday evening, February 16, according to Muhammad Kassim, Kafanchan’s Deputy Chief Imam.

Kassim said the late Imam, who led the Jumu’at Prayer at Kafanchan Central Mosque for many years, was a committed, pious, and inspirational figure who would be deeply mourned by Muslim believers.

Ibrahim Adam Tahir, one of the late Imam’s sons, told Daily Trust that their father had 50 children and was survived by 26 children, 290 grandchildren, and over 200 great-grandchildren. He will be buried in Kafanchan on Thursday morning.

The Emir of Jema’a, Muhammad Isa Muhammad II, regarded the imam’s death as a major loss to the emirate and the people of southern Kaduna State in a sympathy statement.

Mr Kassim prayed to God for the deceased’s soul’s tranquility.

In other news, during an Instagram live session, a married man attempted to ask a lady out while acting as a single man, causing a bit of dramatic scene.

As the conversation progressed, a woman sent a request to join the conversation where the lady was being asked out by the man.

The woman who stepped in claimed to be a family friend who knew the man and emphasized that he was married. She cautioned the lady to be cautious because the man is apparently married and the father of a child.

The man rejected the charges, said he was single, and challenged the woman to bring his wife on to prove he was married to her.

In a matter of seconds, the man’s wife entered the conversation and began flinging insults at him. She displayed the face of their son and issued a warning to the lady.
