Cherry Kingston: Who Is Len Goodman’s Ex-Wife?

Cherry Kingston is the ex-wife of English professional ballroom dancer, dance judge, and coach Len Goodman.

Cherry Kingston is also a dancer by profession and the couple met each other in one of the dance programs in the year 1970.

After meeting each other, they went on to become dance partners.

Cherry and Len dated for two years after which they on April 27, 1972.

However, Len and Cherry’s marriage didn’t stand the test of time as they divorced in 1987.

Speaking about the divorce, Len revealed that Cherry waltzed away with a suave French seducer.

Cherry’s husband Len Goodman turned professional, won various competitions, and retired from dancing after winning the British Championships at Blackpool in his late twenties.

Len Goodman is a recipient of the Carl Alan Award, in recognition of outstanding contributions to dance and, in 2006 and 2007, a show in which he appeared was nominated for the Emmy Award in the Outstanding Reality/Competition Program category.

Len Goodman has appeared as head judge on the television dance programmes Strictly Come Dancing, a programme where various celebrities compete for the glitter ball trophy, from its beginning in 2004 until 2016 and Dancing with the Stars since 2005.

Len Goodman also runs a ballroom dance school in Dartford, Kent.
