Buhari Arrives in Kano for Son’s Wedding

The President, Main Common Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has arrived in Kano for the marriage ceremony of his son, Yusuf Buhari, who’s getting married to Zahra Bayero, the daughter of Nasiru Ado Bayero, the Emir of Bichi in Kano State.

The marriage will likely be going down in the present day on the palace of the Emir of Bichi.

The President had earlier visited Yola, Adamawa State to condole with the federal government and other people of the state over the demise of former everlasting secretary and an elder statesman, Ahmed Joda.

Presidential aide, Buhari Sallau, in a put up on Fb, revealed that the President is now in Kano for his son’s marriage ceremony.

“President Muhammadu Buhari arrives Kano for his son, Yusuf Buhari’s marriage ceremony to Zahra Nasir Bayero going down this afternoon on the Emir Palace in Bichi LGA,” he wrote.

The PUNCH reported that President Buhari had already dispatched a high-level delegation for the marriage led by his Chief of Workers, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari.

These within the delegation embody the Minister of Defence, retired Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi; Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Sabo Nanono; Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika; Minister of Water Sources, Suleiman Hussein Adamu in addition to the Senior Particular Assistant to the President (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu.
