Two Channels TV Reporters Have Been Arrested Over Interviews Carried out. Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani has alleged that two Channels TV reporters have been arrested over interviews performed on the tv station.
Press Informant earlier reported that the NBC queried the TV station over an interview with Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom and Retired Naval Commodore, Kunle Olawunmi.
Nonetheless, on Thursday afternoon, Sani took to twitter to sentence the rumoured arrests.
“A Journalist can solely ask questions, she or he can’t be held accountable for the solutions or the truths or details contained within the solutions.”
“The arrest of the @channelstv presenters Chambalain Usor & Kayode Okikiolu is unconscionable.We will’t remedy our issues by muzzling the press.”, He tweeted.
