BREAKING: Earl Simmons AKA DMX Dies From Heart Attack (SEE PHOTOS)

Earl Simmons, popularly known as DMX, has passed away from a heart attack on April 9, 2021. According to a statement released by his family, the 50-year-old rapper died at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after several days on life support.

DMX was famous for hit songs like ‘Party UP (Up In Here)’, ‘X Gon’ Give It To Ya’, ‘Ruff Ryder’s Anthem’, ‘Where Ya Hood At,’ and more. He featured in films such as Belly, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave and Last Hour.

The American rapper, singer, songwriter and actor started making music in the late 90s. His debut album ‘It’s Dark and Hell is Hot’ was released in 1998 to critical acclaim and commercial success. His first five albums all debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a milestone he remains the only rapper ever to have achieved.Criminals

 

Known for his trademark raspy voice and ad-libs in the form of growls and barks, DMX made music that inspired a whole generation of artistes that came after him. He was the pinnacle of hip-hop in the 90s and 2000s and an inspiration to many people worldwide.
