BREAKING: Barker-Vormawor Granted GHc2 Million Bail

The #FixTheCountry convener Oliver Barker-Vormawor has been reportedly given a GHc2 million bail after being in police custody for a month.

According to reports, the Tema High Court today, March 16, 2022, granted Oliver Barker-Vormawor bail with two sureties.

Justice Daniel Mensah who presided over the trial directed the accused to deposit documents of landed property within the jurisdiction as one of the sureties given to the suspects. Oliver Barker-Vormawor is also to report to police once a week on a day to be determined by police.

The bail of Vomawor comes after the prosecutor for the case failed to show up at court.

The FixTheCountry Movement convener was arrested on February 11 at the Kotoka International Airport upon his arrival from abroad after his comments on Facebook.
