Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic has clinched a straight units win over eleventh hour Italian qualifier Salvatore Caruso, taking the match 6-4, 6-2, 6-1.

Caruso, who changed Novak Djokovic after the world No. 1 was deported by order of the Immigration Minister, struggled to carry serve or battle again towards Kecmanovic’s highly effective forehand.

The Italian had his moments together with a deft, spin-heavy drop shot on the finish of a 20-shot rally at 1-1 within the third.

However shortly after he was damaged after netting a volley, and the Serb took 5 straight video games to victory.

Kecmanovic had earlier vowed to dedicate a primary spherical win to his fellow countryman Djokovic, whom he mentioned was handled unjustly by politicians.
