Asake – Trabaye

Versatile Nigerian recording and performing artiste, Asake comes through with a new melodious tune named; “Trabaye” off his latest EP captioned; “Ololade Asake”.

The extended play is a four tracked project with a feature from top Nigerian musician and YBNL Nation head, Olamide. Before the body of work arrived, Asake had already released, ‘Omo Ope’ which was also taken from the EP.

‘Ololade Asake’ extended play happens to be his first official entry in 2022. The multi-talented act on this masterpiece wasted no time in giving his fans and listeners what they want. Asake, born Ahmed Ololade has been in the music scene for a while and has been consistent throughout the years.

He hit the limelight with the release of his song; “Lady”. The song received massive response from the media and the streets. Asake appeared on Yhemolee’s tune; “Mon Cheri”. The song won the best collaboration at the City People Music Awards in 2020 with his song, ‘Mr Money’ also winning the popular song of the year.

Asake has been constantly tagged as one of the very talented acts to watch out for in the coming years within the Nigerian music circles. His sound is very diverse and breaks all creative boundaries.
