Alana Haim Once Babysat ‘Licorice Pizza’ Co-Star Cooper Hoffman

Alana Haim has revealed that earlier than co-starring with Cooper Hoffman in Licorice Pizza, she was his babysitter.

The 30-year-old musician and actress spoke to Selection in a podcast interview, including that Cooper doesn’t wish to discuss with her as a former babysitter.

Cooper, who performs Gary Valentine, {the teenager} smitten along with her character, was babysat by Alana, and her sisters, Este and Danielle.

“He hates once I say ‘babysat’ as a result of he was 13 and didn’t want a babysitter,” Alana shared.

She then opened up about what he was like as a younger teenager: “He was simply so partaking for a 13-year-old, he actually was…I discuss it like [that line in the movie] – ‘I’m by no means going to neglect you and also you’re by no means going to neglect me.’”
