Akwa Ibom Councillor Abducted By Suspected Gunmen

Samuel Ben, the councillor representing Ward 6 Central in Eket Native Authorities Space of Akwa Ibom State, has been kidnapped by gunmen suspected of being kidnappers.

SP Odiko Macdon, a spokesman for the State Police Command, confirmed the kidnapping on Tuesday, September 28, and acknowledged the investigation is ongoing.

On Saturday, September 25 at round 8 p.m., the sufferer was kidnapped at Macdon’s gasoline station.

Mr Andrew Amiengheme, the Commissioner of Police, has requested an investigation into the occasion, which Macdon termed as “very unlucky and unacceptable.”

The supply added that his wife was locking the workplace door whereas he took some cash to the automobile.

“As this was occurring, the gunmen entered the gas station and kidnapped the councillor,’’ the household supply added.
