The NFF has mentioned that interim coach of the Tremendous Eagles , Augustine Eguavoen will solely be entitled to earn match bonuses and never wage, as Nigeria progress to the knock out levels on the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations event in Cameroon.

Eguavoen was appointed on a short-term deal after the Nigeria Soccer Federation (NFF) dismissed former coach, Gernot Rohr in December.
