Mutated Covid-19: Man wakes up blind after he got infected

A lady has taken to social media to report that her brother has gone blind after he was infected with the mutated covid-19.

The Twitter user identified as @Jennydissents shared a photo of her brother’s eye after he got infected, she tweeted:

”My brother has a mutated strain of Covid-19; he woke up BLIND & an ambulance took him to the ER. I guess it’s a rare strain; less than 10% get it. They have no idea how much of his sight he’ll recover. Hopefully all! How terrifying! ” she wrote.

Health experts the world over are currently battling to understand the mutated Coronavirus, which has caused some countries in the world to enter into another phase of lockdown.
