Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped a 45-year-old lady and two of her daughters at Pegi group in Kuje space council of Abuja.

The victims recognized as Mrs Oladapo Bukola, her daughters, Moyo Oladapo, 17-years-old, and Glory Oladapo, 14, had been kidnapped round 1:04 am on Sunday, September 5.

It was gathered learnt that the lady’s husband, Pastor Gabriel Oladapo, was out of Abuja when the abductors struck.

The trio had been kidnapped two days after a father, Abdullahi Benda, and his 23 year-old son, Jibrin Abdullahi Benda, had been kidnapped at Yangoji village, in Kwali Space council, of the FCT.

A resident merely recognized as Abednego informed Every day Belief that the abductors, wielding AK-47 rifles, scaled the fence of the victims’ home at a resettlement space in Zone A, and compelled the doorways open.

The chairman of Pegi Neighborhood Growth Affiliation, (PECDA), Mr Taiwo Aderibigbe, who confirmed the kidnapping of the lady and her daughters, decried incessant kidnaps within the space, urging safety businesses to come back to the rescue of the residents.

“It’s fairly worrisome, that Pegi, Kuje, is being focused by kidnappers and safety businesses will not be doing a lot,” the PECDA chairman alleged.

Spokesman of the FCT police command ASP Daniel Y Ndiparya, confirmed the incident, saying efforts had been ongoing to rescue the victims.

“Efforts are being made by the command to make sure the victims are rescued.” he added.
