Unique: “The Proud Household” Revival Is Louder and Prouder

After 17 lengthy years, “The Proud Household” is again and louder than ever. The beloved Disney collection — which ran from 2011 to 2005 — is being revived on Disney+, and the solid contains a mixture of our favourite characters in addition to some new ones.

Reprising their roles from the unique present are Kyla Pratt (Penny Proud), Tommy Davidson (Oscar Proud), Paula Jai Parker (Trudy Proud), Jo Marie Payton (Suga Mama), Cedric the Entertainer (Uncle Bobby), Karen Malina White (Dijonay Jones), Soleil Moon Frye (Zoey Howzer), and Alisa Reyes (LaCienega Boulevardez). Becoming a member of the solid are Keke Palmer as Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, Billy Porter and Zachary Quinto as Randall and Barry Leibowitz-Jenkins, rapper Artist “A Boogie” Dubose as Francis “KG” Leibowitz-Jenkins, EJ Johnson as Michael Collins, Asante Blackk as Kareem, Bresha Webb as CeCe, and Aiden Dodson as BeBe. So to say the solid is stacked is an understatement!

In an unique clip, Pratt, White, Reyes, Frye all mirror on what it has been prefer to reprise their respective roles and focus on the influence of the present virtually 20 years later. “I really like Dijonay that she’s unapologetically herself,” White says. “She’s spunky, assured, and he or she’s a great buddy, however she speaks her thoughts.” Reyes provides, “The explanation I am so excited to return again to taking part in LaCienega Boulevardez is as a result of she’s actually actually part of my soul and my alignment and my frequency.”
