Outrage as Malaysian feminine minister advises husbands to beat their ‘cussed’ wives ‘gently’ to self-discipline them for ‘unruly’ behaviour – –

The recommendation of a Malaysian feminine minister to husbands to “gently” beat their “cussed” wives to self-discipline them for “unruly” habits has sparked outrage.

Talking in a two-minute video which tagged ‘Mom’s Suggestions’, the deputy minister for ladies, household, and neighborhood growth, Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff, suggested husbands to ‘self-discipline’ their ‘cussed’ wives by chatting with them, but when they refuse to vary their habits, then they need to sleep aside from them for 3 days, and if after that the girl refuses to vary, they will gently hit her.

“Nonetheless, if the wife nonetheless refuses to take the recommendation, or change her behaviour after the sleeping separation, then the husbands can attempt the bodily contact method, by putting her gently, to indicate his strictness and the way a lot he needs her to vary,’ Siti Zailah stated.

Reacting to the video, social media customers accused her of ‘normalizing’ home violence.

A coalition of ladies’s rights teams, the Joint Motion Group for Gender Equality, accused Siti Zailah of ‘normalizing’ home violence and demanded she resigns from her place as deputy ladies’s minister.
