Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, 91, the emir of the Daura Emirate in Katsina State, has reportedly wed A’isha Yahuza Gona, a 22-year-old woman.
According to a report by Daily Trust, the wedding ceremony was held in Safana town in Katsina State.
The person who spoke to Daily Trust also disclosed that the Emir and A’isha had only recently begun dating, lasting only a week, before they exchanged vows in a private ceremony.
The Emir weds Aisha Iro Maikano, a 20-year-old woman, months after their wedding.
