13 Years After Serving JAIL Term For Dr*g Trafficking, See How Nollywood Actor Uche Odoputa Now Looks Like (Watch Video)

Nollywood was and remains blessed a huge talent in actor, Uche Odoputa, who about 20 years ago was entertaining movie lovers in Nigeria and beyond.

Born on September 23, 1969, at Orlu, in Imo state, Uche Odoputa was known for his lover boy roles in romantic movies and he was loved for his calm nature in his acting.

Uche Odoputa is married and blessed children.

He was arrested by officials ofo the National Dr.*g enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in 2007 while trying to slip away to the united kingdom with 1.336kg of C0ca1ne at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport..

Uche Odoputa was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment for dr*g traffic and after serving his ja1l term, he expressed regrets in his actions.

He said:

“I regret my actions. i used to be a growing brand and tons of individuals were angered by my action. i used to be disappointed in myself. I thank God I came out of prison a changed person.”

“It almost took away my career and therefore the little name I had at that point , gaining recognition in Nollywood and even among my colleagues has been a struggle since then.”
