Gunmen Kill 2 Policemen, Injure 3 At Enugu Police Checkpoint

Two policemen have been killed by unknown gunmen who attacked them at a checkpoint at Nachi neighborhood in Oji River Native Authorities Space of Enugu State on Wednesday, twenty second September 2021, Pressinformant studies.

The gunmen attacked the officers at about 9am, leaving three different officers with critical accidents. The officers have been stated to have died on the spot from the bullet wounds sustained throughout the assault.

The spokesperson of the state police command, Daniel Ndukwe who confirmed the incident stated the Command had launched a full-scale investigation into the incident with a view to monitoring down the assailants.

He stated;

“Full-scale investigation that can result in fishing out of the assailants has commenced. Additional growth can be communicated, please.”
