Aspen Highlands skier dies after crashing into tree

PITKIN COUNTY, Colo. — An Aspen Highlands skier has died after crashing right into a tree, the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Workplace introduced Wednesday.

Round 3:05 p.m., the sheriff’s workplace was notified by Aspen Highlands Ski Firm {that a} 42-year-old male skier, who was snowboarding with a good friend, had collided with a tree in Highlands Bowl on Aspen Highlands Ski Space.

The person was discovered unconscious. Ski patrollers had been alerted and started CPR on the skier as soon as they arrived.

The sheriff’s workplace says resuscitation efforts had been unsuccessful, and the person was pronounced useless on the scene at roughly 3:08 p.m.

There have been no witnesses. Nevertheless, rescuers surmised the skier collided with a tree.

Ski patrollers transported the person to the bottom of the mountain, the place they had been met by the sheriff’s workplace and Pitken County Coroner’s Workplace.

The person’s identification has not but been launched. Help was supplied to the his good friend.
