Chad Green Wife: Meet Jenna Daugherty: Chad Green, officially known as Chad Keith Green is an American professional baseball pitcher.

He was born on Friday, May 24, 1991, in Greenville, South Carolina, United States to Howard Green and Sheena Green. Chad developed a love for baseball at an early age.

He attended Effingham High School and was a three-time All-Apollo Conference selection, a two-time All-Area honoree, and an All-State selection as a senior for the school.

For this, he was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 37th round of 2010 but did not sign with Toronto, and enrolled at the University of Louisville, where he played college baseball for the Louisville Cardinals.

Chad has played for a couple of teams including; Detroit Tigers, Lakeland Flying Tigers, West Michigan Whitecaps, and Erie SeaWolves, and New York Yankees.

During his time at the New York Yankees, he made his debut in 2016 as a starting pitcher and became a relief pitcher in 2017.

In January 2023, Chad Green made headlines after he joined the Toronto Blue Jays on a two-year deal. The $8.5 million deal is expected to come with a unique contract structure.

In the contract, Green’s second year is a conditional player option that he can exercise if the Blue Jays decline a three-year club option, which would bring the deal through 2026.

But if both sides decline those options, then the Blue Jays get a two-year club option at a higher average annual salary. This structure gives both sides some flexibility and security.

However, Chad Green is still recovering from his surgery in May but it’s unclear when he will join the team.

Chad Green is a happily married man. He’s married to Jenna Daugherty who happens to be his long-time girlfriend.

The love birds got engaged on 20th November 2014 and then tied the knot on November 28, 2015.

Jenna was born as one of the four children of Kathy Daugherty (mother) and Mark Daugherty (father). She was raised alongside her siblings Shannon, Rachel, and Kevin.

Jenna was raised in Effingham, Illinois where she attended Effingham High School. She studied nursing at Illinois State University and later at Chamberlin University College of Nursing. She’s currently a NICU RN at Carle Hospital.
