Your Spirit Shouldn’t Be Dampened, CDS Tells Military

The Chief of Defence Employees (CDS), Basic Fortunate Irabor, yesterday charged bereaved armed forces personnel mourning the late Chief of Military Employees, Lt. Basic Ibrahim Attahiru, to stay steadfast despite the tragic occasion of final weekend.

Talking initially of the three-day prayer for the late military chief on the Employees Flag Home, Niger Barracks, Asokoro, Irabor charged the members of the armed forces to stay steadfast of their duties.

“You need to be steadfast on this making an attempt interval. Your spirit shouldn’t be dampened.

I encourage the armed forces to stay steadfast”, he stated.

Talking in an interview with journalists, former Chief of Military Employees, Lt. Basic Abdulrahman Dambazzau (rtd) stated the demise of the service chief was a nationwide loss.

“All of us got here from Allah and to Him we will return, all of us. All people has his day and time however we don’t know when; so, once we lose anyone amongst us, we really feel it.

“This can be a nationwide loss. He was not simply within the military; he was the nation’s chief of military employees and his entourage. So we pray that the Almighty Allah, forgive them their sins and shortcomings as human beings”, he stated.
