Murder At Yellowstone City 2
In a recent murder mystery western, Isaiah Mustafa, who previously starred in “It: Chapter Two,” plays the role of Cicero, a freed slave. In addition to Thomas Jane and Gabriel Byrne, Nat Wolff, and Aimee Garcia, the outstanding cast that comes to life a spine-chilling tale of greed and vengeance that takes place in Yellowstone City, Montana, in the year 1881 also includes Aimee Garcia.

If you have seen this movie and thought it was entertaining, you might be interested in a follow-up installment. But will there be a second installment? Or do you not believe that there is a genuine need for a sequel to the film Murder at Yellowstone City?

This is what we know as at the time this article was written.

Spoilers await!
What is Murder At Yellowstone City about?

After Cicero first arrives in Yellowstone City, the events of the film continue to follow his journey. When a local gold prospector is found dead, certain members of the community immediately become suspicious of him, and their suspicions only grow stronger as time passes.

Was it Cicero who ended the man’s life? The Sheriff is convinced of this, and consequently places Cicero under arrest for the crime. But as we learn more about what happened, it is becoming abundantly evident that the true killer is still at large.

See the movie for more information, or read our article “Ending Explained” for a synopsis of the events that take place in the film and how they culminate.

Will there be a Murder At Yellowstone City 2?
At this moment, there has been no official news of a sequel, and to tell you the truth, we don’t think it’s probable that there will be a sequel.

We are under the impression that this is the case due to the fact that Murder at Yellowstone City appears to be an independent film. The fact that the case is resolved before the end credits roll does not mean that there is no potential for a sequel; but, if there were to be a part 2, it would have nothing to do with the murder mystery that was at the center of the original movie.

What could Murder At Yellowstone City 2 be about?
A continuation of the story is extremely improbable at this point.

In the event that there is, however, a part 2, it might concentrate on Cicero and his life outside of Yellowstone City. At the conclusion of the first film, he dismounts his horse and goes away, seemingly in search of a new location to establish a permanent residence. In a potential sequel, he might get into more difficulty in a different city, but the nature of that issue is something about which we are not quite certain.

The religious couple Thaddeus Murphy (played by Thomas Jane) and Alice Murphy (played by Anna Camp), who made a pledge to Yellowstone City at the close of the first film to bring peace to the community, may be the focus of the sequel if it did not continue Cicero’s story. Because peace is something that does not come very often in the Wild West, as we all know from the many westerns that we have seen in the past, there is a possibility that there will be another murder in the town. It is expected that Thaddeus and Alice will conduct an investigation into the murder and bring the perpetrator to justice.

Since there has been no confirmation of a follow-up, of course all of this is merely conjecture on our part. Please share your thoughts with us in the comment area below if you have any suggestions for more stories that could follow this one.

When could Murder At Yellowstone City 2 be released?
There is a possibility that a sequel might be produced as soon as the following year if it is given the go-ahead to do so; however, given that there does not appear to be any pre-production work being done on a sequel, it is possible that we will have to wait until 2024 or later.

However, it would be smart to get your expectations up because we truly don’t think there is going to be a Part 2 because we don’t think it’s ever going to happen.

But if we do learn that there will be a sequel, we will make the appropriate changes to this page.
