Wike, Okowa, Obaseki, Senator Olujimi, Others Get Fresh PDP Appointments Ahead Of Party's Convention

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Social gathering, PDP, Nationwide Conference Organisation Committee, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state, has stated plans are going easily forward of the social gathering’s conference.

Fintiri disclosed that 6,000 delegates are anticipated to converge in Abuja to elect a brand new Nationwide Working Committee, NWC in October.

 

He acknowledged this whereas inaugurating 15 sub conference committees on Thursday which was attended by Governor Nyesom Wike, Governor Seyi Makinde and others.

Chatting with newsmen, the Adamawa governor stated: “We expect over 6, 000 delegates by our new structure and we’re totally ready for that. We’re anticipating everyone in each ward that could be a delegate to attend the conference.”

 

“We’re shifting on. I’m the chairman of the conference committee and you may see that we’re doing our work. Everyone is joyful and collaborating. I don’t see any disaster on this social gathering,” he added.

 

The PDP has appointed Governors Wike, Udom Emmanuel and Darius Ishaku as chairmen of Particular Duties, Constitutional Modification and Contact and Mobilisation sub-committees respectively.

Different appointments as introduced by Senator Duoye Diri embody Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Mohammed Bello Adoke, Ifeanyi Okowa and Solomon Arase as chairmen of zoning, screening, screening enchantment, accreditation and safety committees.

 

Others are Ahmadu Fintiri (Electoral), Godwin Obaseki (publicity), Bala Mohammed (Venue), Mariya Waziri (Welfare and Leisure), Ibrahim Dankwambo (Transportation), Biodun Olujimi (Protocol), Nuhu (Medical) and Ibrahim Tsauri (Secretariat).
