Why You Must Help Your Family When You Succeed – Reno Omokri Shares Insight

Controversial Nigerian social commentator and author, Reno Omokri has shared an instructive and insightful piece of advice with his fans on social media that pertains to success.

Reno Omokri advised people to support their family when they become successful in life because if they fall or go down one day, the family members would remember what he or she did for them and support him.

In his words, Reno wrote:

“When you succeed, fine time to light your family’s fire, so that if your own fire goes out, they can also return the favour and light your fire back. There’s a risk of darkness if you are the only light in the family.

Reno recently staged a demonstration in UK with other Nigerians living in the UK protesting against Buhari’s trip to UK to rest and seek medical check up as he claims the leader has left the country in a state of unrest.

In a series of tweets, he said;

Dear Governor Matawalle, How can you say this? Is @MBuhari the physical representation of the North? So, when I fought Abacha at age 23, I was also fighting the North? #HarassBuhariOutofLondon is fighting bad governance. We are not fighting the North!

#HarassBuhariOutofLondon is not disturbing General @MBuhari at his house as some people erroneously claim. The official name of that residence is Nigeria House, AKA Abuja House. It belongs to Nigeria, not to Buhari. I insist that Buhari must return to build hospitals in Nigeria
