Who Is Pam Duncan-Glancy Husband Hugh John Glancy?
Pam Duncan-Glancy and her husband, Hugh John Glancy, are very happy together. In April 2022, they just celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary.

Glancy marked the event by posting a photo of herself and her husband on Instagram with the caption, “Eight years, three jobs, two referenda, far too many elections, and one rocket dug later, here we are.”

Even though not much is known about Pam’s marriage, we found out through her social media handle that her husband is also disabled.

So far, no one knows what John Glancy does for a living. Despite that, he is a loving and helpful partner to Pam.

Pam Duncan-Glancy Condition & Disability
Pam Duncan-Glancy was diagnosed with juvenile idiopathic arthritis when she was 18 months old. The disease had a big effect on her joints, and now several of them are fused and misshapen.

This type of juvenile arthritis affects about one in 1,000 Scottish children and teens under 16 years old. It is an auto-immune disease, which means that the immune system of the body attacks healthy joint tissue for no good reason.

Duncan-Glancy told STV News that when she was young, the disease did “a lot of damage” to her.

She says that since then, things have come “a long, long way” and there are now many medicines that can be used to treat the disease.

Why Is Pam Duncan-Glancy In A Wheelchair?
Because she has arthritis, Pam Duncan-Glancy has to use a wheelchair. But her disability is also what makes her strong.

Duncan-Glancy said this to STV News: “Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis is the same disease as juvenile arthritis, but it has a different name. I was told I had what was called at the time “Juvenile Chronic Arthritis.”

She went on to say, “When I was 18 months old, I was told I had juvenile chronic arthritis. I am now 40 years old. It’s been a very long time since then.

She says that the illness can be “stark” because its symptoms can change every day.

The condition makes it very hard to get out of bed, and it can take up to an hour or more to get the body and joints moving in the morning.
