Who Are Cameron Norrie Parents?: Cameron Norrie is a South African-born British professional tennis player born on August 23, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

He and his family moved to Auckland, New Zealand, after being victims of a burglary in South Africa. Norrie developed a love for tennis at a younger age and started training for it.

During his junior career, he represented New Zealand, becoming No. 10 in the world. In April 2013, at the age of 17, Norrie switched his allegiance to Great Britain, the nationality of his parents.

In 2013, he competed in all the Junior Grand Slams; the Australian Open for New Zealand, then for Great Britain at the French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open, but only won one match, in Australia.

That same year (2013), Norrie played his first senior tournament at the ATP Auckland Open, winning the first qualifying round. As a professional, he has had several different coaches including; David Roditi, Devin Bowen, James Trotman, and Facundo Lugones.

At the Delray Beach Open in 2022, Norrie dropped just one set en route to his third career singles title, defeating Reilly Opelka in the final, and at Wimbledon (2022), he reached the fourth round in a Grand Slam for the first time in his career, by beating Steve Johnson in three sets.

Norrie has reached career-high rankings of world No. 8 in singles and No. 117 in doubles and has bagged four ATP Tour singles titles as well one doubles title. His strength lies in his shot tolerance and ability to neutralize pace and spin with good court positioning and speed.

His father is from Scotland while his mother is of Welsh descent. Bother parents are microbiologists.
