President Muhammadu Buhari has stated happenings in Libya have implications for Nigeria and different nations within the Lake Chad Basin.

He stated this when he hosted Mohammed Younis Menfi, Chairman, Presidential Council of Libya, on Wednesday.

Buhari famous that the Republics of Chad and Niger have intensive borders with Libya.

“No matter impacts them impacts us. The steadiness or instability of Libya will instantly have an effect on us”, he stated.

Buhari said Nigeria’s security is his high precedence, noting that “except a rustic or establishment is secured, there’s no manner you may effectively handle it.”

He thanked Menfi for personally attending the Summit of Lake Chad Basin Fee held in Abuja on Tuesday.
