After almost three years of marriage, the couple had to divorce. A few months later, in November 2020, Hough filed for divorce.

Who Are Julianne Hough Family Members?
Hough was born in Orem, Utah, the youngest of five children in a Mormon household. Her parents are Bruce and Marianne Hough, and her father was twice chairman of the Utah Republican Party.

Her brother, Derek Hough, is a professional dancer as well. Her three other older sisters are Katherine, Sharee, and Marabeth. All four of Hough’s grandparents were dancers.

So it’s obvious how Julianne came to be interested in dancing. Her second cousins in the band R5 are Riker, Rydel, Rocky, and Ross Lynch; their maternal grandmothers were sisters.

Hough’s formal dance instruction began at the Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, where she took Latin Ballroom classes alongside other dancers and Josh Murillo. She began dancing competitions at the age of nine.
