President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday mourned the death of former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Vincent Ogbulafor.

Buhari, in a condolence message to Ogbulafor’s family, believes that Ogbulafor will be remembered for his role in Nigeria’s democratic growth.

The former PDP’s National Chairman died in Canada on Friday at the age of 73.

However, the president commiserated with leaders and members of the PDP, the Olokoro Royal family in Umuahia, and the Government and people of Abia State over the loss of the former National Secretary of the party.

In a statement signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, Buhari believes that the former PDP National Chairman will be remembered for his role in the nation’s democratic growth.

The President commends the zeal of the Prince of Olokoro in sustaining the unity and progress of the country.

President Buhari prays that God will accept the soul of the departed and comfort his family.
