Update: Three suspects arrested over gruesome murder of Abuja chef, Emeka Eloagu
Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command have arrested three suspects in reference to the homicide of fashionable Nigerian chef, Chukwuemeka Vincent Eloagu popularly referred to as Chef Emeka.
It could be recalled that the Emeka, who was fashionable for his distinctive culinary expertise, was discovered lifeless in his Katampe apartment on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the event in a press release on Tuesday, October 12, stated that Chef Emeka was ‘gruesomely’ murdered by the suspects.
“The FCT Police Command commenced discreet investigations into the homicide of Chef Emeka to unravel the circumstances surrounding the dying of the sufferer,” Adeh said.
“The investigations by the police crew led to the arrest of the three (3) male suspects, Kingsley Obinna, 24 years, Musa Tanimu, 25 years and Mohammed Sha’aba, 26 years, for his or her complicity within the crime
Adeh stated that “investigations by the murder part of the Command Legal Investigations Division (CID) clearly revealed how the suspects gruesomely murdered the sufferer in chilly blood
“The CP, whereas condoling with the household and buddies of the deceased, assured that the suspects could be charged to courtroom upon completion of the investigations.
“The CP implores residents to report all suspicious actions, emergencies or distresses, by these numbers: 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653 and 08028940883.” the PPRO added.
