UPDATE: Police Confirms Kidnappers Killed Younger Sowore, Abduct Five Others In Edo

Edo Police Command on Saturday morning confirmed that suspected kidnappers killed Sowere Felix Olajide, the youthful brother of the convener of “Revolution Now”, Omoyele Sowore.

 

The Command’s spokesman, Bello Kontongs, in a one-paragraph message despatched to journalists, mentioned “along with killing the youthful Sowore, the suspected kidnappers made away with 5 unidentified individuals, simply as he added that Sowore’s corpse had been deposited on the Igbinedion College Instructing Hospital.”

 

The PPRO message, all in higher circumstances, reads:

“Good morning all. That is to substantiate you that suspected kidnappers at about 06:45hrs alongside Lagos-Benin Expressway by Isuwa kidnapped 5 unidentified individuals and on (sic) the method shot to loss of life one Sowore Felix Olajide, male, a pharmacy scholar of Igbinedion College, Okada. His stay has been deposited at IUTH mortuary, Okada, whereas effort is ongoing to rescue the 5 kidnap victims whereas search and rescue operation, is ongoing pls.”

 

The elder Sowore, had in a press release early Saturday, introduced that “his fast youthful brother, Olajide Sowore was in the present day shot and killed close to Okada in Edo State by reportedly herdsmen /kidnappers on his means from Igbinedion College in Edo State the place he’s finding out Pharmacy.”
