UAE: Driver who fled accident scene that killed pregnant mother, daughter arrested in 14 minutes

The driving force concerned in a hit-and-run case in Sharjah was arrested 14 minutes after the accident wherein two individuals died.

Based on Sharjah Police, the driving force fled the scene after the collision at a site visitors intersection on Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi Road.

The collision resulted within the demise of a 35-year-old Asian mom and her 10-year-old daughter, whereas the daddy and three different youngsters suffered reasonable to extreme accidents.

The mom, who was within the seventh month of her being pregnant, and her daughter died in a collision between two automobiles, leading to a pile-up of six automobiles.

Police carried out a search and managed to apprehend the driving force, and was later referred to public prosecution.

Based on a police officer, the Central Operations Room of the Sharjah Police obtained a report of an accident on Tuesday (January 18) at 11pm.

The report said that there had been a 6-vehicle crash at a site visitors intersection because of extreme pace.

Sharjah Police officers known as on motorists to be vigilant, adhere to site visitors guidelines, and abide by the pace limits on the Emirate’s highway.

Over rushing violations is a significant reason for accidents that end in lack of life.
