The New Twitter CEO Who Doesn’t Know How To Scrub His Own Tweets, Parag Agrawal Called Out After 2010 Tweets Resurfaces
Parag Agrawal, the brand new Twitter CEO, has been hit with racism claims after a 2010 tweet resurfaced during which he seems to name all white individuals racist.
Within the tweet shared on October 26, 2010, Parag Agrawal, an Indian-American, wrote: “If they aren’t gonna make a distinction between Muslims and extremists, then why ought to I distinguish between white individuals and racists?”
The tweet was apparently quoting comic Aasif Mandvi, who had appeared in an episode of The Every day Present in a section pitting black individuals towards Muslim individuals.
The tweet resurfaced on Monday November 29, after Agrawal, 45, was named the brand new CEO of Twitter as Dorsey formally introduced he’s stepping down from the corporate.
Reacting to Parag’s previous tweet, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, a Republican from Tennessee, wrote: “That is Parag Agrawal, Twitter’s new CEO and the one who’s going to be deciding what sort of speech is allowed on Twitter.”
