A Nigerian man simply known as Michael has cried out after losing people’s money which his friend persuaded him to use to play a bet.
In a WhatsApp chat between the two friends, Michael was telling friend named John of his intention to play bet, but his friend told him of a particular one to play which he claimed will benefit him more and make him a millionaire.
Michael, however, revealed that the money in his possession is part of a contributory plan called Osusu where people contribute on a weekly or monthly basis.
John then convinced him to use the entire sum of N750,000 to place the bet and be hopeful that after 90 minutes, he would become a millionaire.
The match ended 2:1 against the draw Michael’s friend advised him to play and when he tackled his friend for giving him bad advise, John ghosted and stopped replying.
