The Lagos State Governor banned business bikes in some native governments within the state following the lynching and burning of a sound engineer often known as David Imoh.
At the moment, Could 19, cops from Onireke Police Station, Ojo, impounded some business bikes plying the Mile 2 – Badagry highway and the motorcyclists revolted.
They stormed the police station the place a number of the seized bikes had been stored. They tried to overrun the station and free motorcyclists arrested by police.
Gunshots had been heard ringing out within the space as cops tried to maintain them away. The motorcyclists retaliated by throwing stones on the officers.
The enraged motorcyclists then began a hearth in the midst of the highway, inflicting house owners of autos to desert their automobiles and flee.
The incident has induced heavy site visitors within the space.
