Tems Reveals The Woman In The Popular Royco Advert In The 1990s Is Her Mother [WATCH VIDEO]

Nigerian singer, Tems, a BET Award winner, has made an intriguing disclosure regarding her family.

The internet was buzzing about the artist because people were curious about her mother.

 

After Tems responded to a well-known Royco advertisement from the 1990s, an old tweet of hers from 2018 reappeared online.

In 2017, a Twitter user shared a clip of the well-known commercial, and Tems startled many when she disclosed that the woman in the commercial was actually her mother.

In 2018, Tems responded to the tweep’s post, and that one move brought attention to her family.

Tems gushed about her mother and said it was strange to see her in the advertisement.

The revelation has social media in a frenzy.

The tweep captioned the video with,

“If you remember this advert on AIT and NTA, just know that you deserved to be called agbaya if you are not yet married”.

Tems tweeted, “Lmao!! My mum!!”.

“Lmao feels so surreal to see my mum like this, what a spice”.

Tems has been revealed as one of the songwriters on the American singer’s yet to be released studio project captioned ‘Renaissance’.

The official track-list of Beyonce’s Renaissance was posted on social media on Thursday, July 21 2022 and Tems was credited as one of the songwriters on track 10 ‘Move’ under her full original name, Temilade Openiyi.

This is coming after Tems became the first Nigerian female artiste to win the Best International Act category at the BET Awards 2022. So far, 2022 has been an incredible year for Tems.

Recently, she reached the number one position on Billboards Hot 100 after her vocals featured on Future’s ‘Wait For You’. Tems continues his rapid rise to the top of African music royalty and and are super excited and can’t wait for the jam.
