“Show The World A Video Of What You Said About Social Media Regulation” – Dr. Olufunmilayo Dares Desmond Elliot. Self-acclaimed medical health expert and Twitter influencer, Dr. Olunfunmilayo has dared Nollywood actor and House of Representatives member, Desmond Elliot to release the video in which he purportedly supported the bill for anti-social media to be passed after the latter denied ever doing that.

Desmond Elliot, in a series of videos posted on his Instagram page refuted claims that he pushed a motion for the regulation of free speech in the country.

Daring Desmond Elliot to let the whole world see the video that captured what he said about regulating social media, Dr. Olufunmilayo shared a video link showing the sitting that went on yesterday and how the lawmaker accused Nigerian celebrities of for carnage but for obvious reasons, the video evidence on the website of the Lagos State house of Assembly has been taken down.

He tweeted,

“Dear Desmond Elliot. Thanks for your quick correction. In the spirit of honesty and transparency, can you please release to the world what you said about celebs and influencers, can you also let the whole world see the video of what you said about social media regulation? Thanks”

In a rejoinder, Olufunmilayo wrote,

“On today’s plenary session,
I have reliable information Desmond Elliot blamed celebs/influencers for the carnage and went ahead to advocate social media regulation bill.
