The Wildlife Photographer of the 12 months 2021 competitors has began and the organisers have now released beautiful pictures of entries acquired.

Pictures of an Iberian lynx framed in a doorway, cheetahs swimming in a raging river and blood dripping from the muzzle of a lioness are among the many unbelievable photographs captured.
