Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Debo Adebayo better known as Mr. Macaroni has sparked a controversy on social media after sharing his thoughts on security officials such as the police harassing civilians.

Mr. Macaroni who went viral over his short comedy skits took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to slam police officers and escorts who open doors for people.

According to him, no police officer or escort should open doors for anyone or even carry items like handbags for people strongly positing that some citizens use the Police to harass and intimidate their fellow citizens.

The EndSARS convener and human rights activist who was recently arrested for staging a protest against the opening of the Lekki Toll Gate following the Massacre in October 20, said that they can’t associate themselves with a system that abuses the same police we criticize.

He tweeted;

I don’t know if it is just me ooo. But I don’t think police officers should be opening doors for anyone.. some even carry handbags. Little wonder some citizens use the police to harass their fellow citizens. We cannot be part of a system that abuses the same police we criticize.

comedianReacting to his Tweet a follower identified as @Links_wurld wrote;

Responding the follower, he said
