Petrol tanker explodes in Lagos

A petroleum tanker, on Tuesday, exploded at Egbeda, Alimosho Native Authorities Space of Lagos State.

Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, Director-Normal, Lagos State Emergency Administration Company (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, mentioned the tanker loaded with petrol exploded round 1:18 am.

Oke-Osanyintolu mentioned the incident occurred at Banire Bus Cease, Egbeda inward Ikotun, including that there was no casualty.

“Investigation carried out by the Staff upon arrival on the scene revealed a completely loaded tanker with diesel had a break failure, misplaced management and fell off the highway resulting in an explosion and fireplace outburst.

“Nonetheless, no casualties recorded nor any properties razed within the unlucky inferno.

“The hearth has been efficiently subdued by males of the LASEMA LRU Fireplace service and LASG Fireplace service whereas dampening down is ongoing,” he added.
