A 32- year-old man, Biodun Adebiyi, has been arrested by males of Ogun state police command for beating cigarette vendor to demise over 50 naira stability.

The arrest was contained in a press assertion made obtainable to Blueprint Monday by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in Abeokuta.

Upon the report, the DPO, Idiroko division, CSP Shadrach Oriloye, rapidly led his males to the scene, the place the suspect was promptly arrested.

 

The corpse of the deceased has since been deposited on the mortuary for post-mortem.

In the meantime, the commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered the rapid switch of the suspect to murder part of the state Felony Investigation and Intelligence Division for additional investigation and diligent prosecution.
