Marcus Joins Polish

Nigeria young forward Abraham Marcus has joined Polish topflight club Radomiak Radom on loan from Portuguese club Portimonense SC for the rest of the current campaign.

Radomiak Radom conformed the loan signing on their Twitter handle on Thursday.

According to Radomiak Radom, the loan deal includes a buyout option.

The 22-year-old has made just three appearances in the Portuguese elite division without scoring a goal.

He was outstanding for Feirense in the second division last season scoring 11 goals in 26 games.

On 14 May 2021 former Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr included Marcus in his 31-man list for friendlies in June.

He went on to make his debut for Nigeria in a 1–0 loss to Cameroon on 4 June 2021.

Meanwhile Marcus’ new club Radomiak Radom are currently in fifth place on 36 points and just six points behind leaders Lech Poznan in the 18-team league table.
