Popular Nigerian Twitter user Daniel Regha has come for plus-sizes as he advises them to pay for a double seat when they board public transport.

Daniel Regha took to his Twitter page to urge plus-size to pay for two seats whenever they board a commercial bus in order not to make others feel comfortable.

Daniel is of the opinion that these plus sizes end up squeezing other passengers who share the same seat with them in public transport and have advised them to pay for a double seat to desist from inconveniencing anyone.

“Nigerians pls if God blessed u with a big body, normalize paying for “2 seats” in public transport so u can sit comfortably without inconveniencing another passenger; Cos it’s a very wicked act to be squeezing someone anyhow. Don’t be an enemy of progress. Let’s help ourselves.”

@Temmy: You can also pay for two seats too na so you can sit comfortably instead of you laying curse on them In your mind

@I sell Gelato: Its not only public transport. Even on planes. Once i was sat beside this big guy and he was trying to raise the arm rest between us so he could comfortable! As if my ticket was a joke to him. I refused

@Austine: Hmmm no offense but I don’t think this is polite from you Daniel. First of all, the term “big body” sounds demeaning and downgrading. Secondly, saying they should pay for two seats because of their physique is indirect body-shaming. I never expected this from someone like you.

@Kumni: Especially when I’m placed in the middle Omo I always sit out instead of leaning in the back seat because of sweat
