Nobody Can Stop #EndSARS Anniversary Protest – Sowore Dares Police
Rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has dared the Nigeria Police on the deliberate protest to mark the Finish SARS anniversary.
Recall that in October 2020, Nigerians trooped out in protest looking for an finish to police brutality.
Nevertheless, the protest turned violent as some thugs hijacked it leading to troopers’ intervention on the Lekki toll gate.
Some people are planning to embark on a protest on October twentieth in commemoration of the one 12 months anniversary of ENDSARS.
Nevertheless, the Lagos police Command in a press release launched by its spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, warned towards the protest.
Sowore, reacting on his Twitter web page, insisted that there can be EndSARS memorial protests on October twentieth, 2021.
The activist famous that no one had the proper to suppress the need of Nigerians to repudiate the alleged atrocities of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
His tweet learn: “To Police in Lagos and throughout Nigeria, there can be #EndSARS memorial protests and direct actions on October 20 2021.
“No person can suppress the need of Nigerians to repudiate the mass atrocities of the Buhari’s regime on that day and past.”
