The young man had planned a surprise proposal for his girlfriend at a shopping mall but she was not ready to get married.
In a now-viral, he could be seen holding flowers and a ring as he went on one knee to ask his girl to be his wife, but she tried to get him to stand up.
When he insisted on kneeling, she then ran off, leaving him there as shoppers stared at him with mixed feelings.
After she left, the man bent his face and shed tears, which then forced people to move closer to him in pity.
