Legendary Goalkeeper, Sammy Adjei Bags Coaching Job

Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Sammy Adjei has bagged a coaching job.

The goalkeeper who made a name for himself in Ghana and Africa has been named as the new goalkeeper’s trainer of Kenpong Football Academy.

The African Champions League winner made announced by the club as their new goalkeepers’ trainer in a recent statement.

The statement reads;

“Legendary Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei joins Kenpong Academy.

Former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak safest pair of hands Sammy Adjei has been appointed as the new Goalkeeper’s Trainer for fast-rising Kenpong Football Academy.”

This comes after it was revealed sometime ago that the former goalkeeper was doing menial jobs to make ends meet.

When the news broke out, he was heavily assisted by Ghanaians and one of such individuals is former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan who gave him about GHC 10,000.

His new appointment is definitely in the right direction considering his pedigree.
