JUST IN: Former Military Governor Tunji Olurin is Dead

Brig-Gen. Tunji Olurin (rtd.), the previous Navy Administrator of Oyo State, has handed away at age 77. The deceased’s brother, Funso Olurin, confirmed the event in Abeokuta on Saturday.

He confirmed that Olurin died on the Lagos State College Instructing Hospital within the early hours of Saturday. He stated the previous Navy Administrator of Ekiti State died after a quick sickness.

Olurin hailed from Ilaro in Ogun West Senatorial District of Ogun State.

He was the Peoples Democratic Social gathering’s governorship candidate within the 2011 normal election in Ogun State.

Olurin, a Discipline Commander of ECOMOG Peacekeeping Pressure in Liberia from 1992 to 1993 through the First Liberian Civil Conflict, retired from service in 1993.
