Joke Silva Finally Reveals Olu Jacobs Has Dementia
Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva on Saturday revealed that her husband, Olu Jacobs has dementia with Lewy body (DLB).
The 60-year-old mother of two disclosed her husband health status while speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo.
It could be recalled that it has been a while since the veteran Nigerian actor, Olu Jacobs starred in movies, this had made many Nigerians keep wondering if the man is still alive or dead.
Speaking to Chude over the weekend, his lovely wife, Joke Silva said, “My husband is dealing with issues and it is been going on for a couple of years. It is known as dementia with Lewy Body.
“It is a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it is almost like a Parkinson type of disease, it affects the brain and affects the person,” she revealed.
She further disclosed that it’s been hard on her husband because he doesn’t understand what is going on and also on family members as well.
“We have gone through it over the past couple of years but we thank God,” she added.
