Jake Zyrus is a well-known TV star who has been on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and many other shows. Since 2005, more than a decade, he has been working in the entertainment industry.

As he said, it was hard for him to grow up “It was always there: the struggle and pain of keeping a secret. Towards the end of my transition, right before I came out, I was like, “No, no, no.” But at the same time, it got worse than it could get.”

Jake said that trying to hide his pain started long before he became famous in the entertainment industry. Also, all the confusion and things going on around him started to affect his mental health, which made him decide to kill himself.

He told them, “It’s a very dark place, and I’m not just saying that because I’ve been there three times.”
